Greetings to all the crew and fans at home!

We are around 1460 NM to the finish and close to the middle of the race.

Yesterday we were using our butterfly and speeding at around 7 knots, but last night we managed to break also our speed record for this race. The record of 11.4 knots now belongs to Muris. The other record for the last day belongs to barometer - 1030 mb!

Living by the UTC we discovered that sun rises around 7:30 and sunset is at 20:30, so at the dinner table the crew decided to switch the time zone onboard to UTC -2. That doesn't mean that we have stopped reporting our position to the Race control using UTC, but our daily life is now runs the different time. And who said that you can't turn back time?

Speaking about the dinner table - yesterday we were lucky to catch the second fish which was 75cm in length and 2,2 kg heavy. It was caught and later prepared by our captain, and the fish was nicely served together with pancakes prepared by Reinis.

Otherwise, the days past by pretty calm and slowly, but they are fulfilled with different activities. For instance, yesterday we had a movie evening and we watched a sailing movie WIND. Ilona is still collecting ocean salt crystals. Nils is polishing teak wood parts. That doesn't stop him from creating a future vision for the upgrades of the boat. Others are reading a lot, playing cards and jokes a lot.

While we are writing this report, the dinner is almost ready. There is a plan to surprise Sintija this night, who will celebrate her birthday on Thursday.

Have a nice Thursday!
